The Redwood Room

I think the writing on the chalkboard said “rustic elegance”.  Those words describe this place perfectly. It’s located under it’s sister restaurant 300 First (which is also really cool). The Redwood Room is not very big, dimmly lit and oh, so charming. They feature live music on some nights and last nights guitar and vocals were awesome.

We started with an order of their bruschetta. Redwood Room 8.27.2016

It is so very, very good and very fresh with local grape tomatoes, fresh basil,  perfectly toasted bread and Parmesan cheese and the it is finished with balsamic vinegar.

The main dish tonight is one of their amazing pizza’s. We ordered the Thai fusion pizza. The crust has a great texture and is hand tossed with basil and oregano. Resting on top of the delicious crust is sriracha chicken, smoky bacon bits, thinly sliced red peppers and julienne red onions. They then finish it with a scrumptious creamy peanut sauce, pickled red peppers, shredded cheddar cheese and fresh cilantro. The blend of flavors and textures all compliment each other to create an incredibly delicious pizza!

Redwood Thai Pizza

We would order this over and over again but there are more delicious things on the menu to try too. The Redwood Room is always a great choice and we’ll look forward to our next visit .This unique and wonderful place is one of the restaurants in the Creative Cuisine Company’s group which includes Newt’s, 300 First, Hefe Rojo and City Market.
