Victoria’s has been in Rochester for a very long time. Once you have a meal here you will know why they have lasted so long. This place serves authentic Italian food made from scratch and it is absolutely delicious.
We dove into our entrée and forgot to take a picture! We did get a picture of the calamari which is featured below. It seems that whenever we order calamari at a restaurant it is always different from the last place we had it. Unique to the chef who made it. Here at Victoria’s it is very tender with a light batter and served with a spicy buffalo type sauce and a marinara. For us, it just wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. The next patron may love it. It just wasn’t for us.
The entrée, however, was for us. The portion sizes here are very generous so we split the Pollo Bianco. Yum! This dish consists of fresh chicken, sautéed in a white creamy Alfredo type sauce with mushrooms, prosciutto ham & mozzarella. We both loved it. Tender pasta, delicious chicken and prosciutto with the made from scratch cream sauce – it was a wonderful combination. I asked for a touch more sauce and the server told me it would be 10-15 minutes because they make every order from scratch. That is a very, very good sign. If you haven’t been – you must go and experience this cozy little taste of Italy right here in Rochester.
