5-7-2016: This post is boring. After reading please note that when Scott complained and put a pic on their facebook page the manager apologized and promised that the next visit would be better. This visit won’t prevent us from visiting again. BUT I barely even want to blog about our visit here a few days ago. The quantity in one dish and the quality in the other were absent. Not there, and nowhere to be found. Scott ordered the turkey wrap: cheddar, arugula, tomato, and red wine vinaigrette blanketed in a wheat tortilla. He had to look hard to find any turkey! It was FULL of greens. A lot of lettuce, a couple pieces of turkey . Blah.
I ordered the barbecue chicken flatbread – chicken, cilantro, green and red onions, bacon, mozzarella, and cheddar drizzled with a bbq bourbon sauce. The description sounded delicious. Our server said it was really good. It wasn’t. I would not recommend ordering this. Please don’t. The only good thins were the fresh mozzarella balls and cilantro. This dish may have been having a bad night but it was not good at all. Not much chicken and very syrupy bbq sauce. Blah. If you do choose to dine here, at the Crooked Pint, there are many good options. Enjoy!!
Another visit to the Crooked Pint last week…this time because the coupon was about to expire;). Buy one burger and get the next one half price. Scott had the Crooked Cowboy Lucy (they offer lots of Lucy varieties on their menu). I had the Ultimate ‘Shroom Burger on the “specialty burger” menu. The ‘shroom burger was topped with sautéed mushrooms, bleu cheese, monterey jack and cheddar cheese, bacon crumbles, lettuce and their own delicious spicy bistro sauce. The cowboy Lucy is stuffed with bacon bbq sauce and cheddar cheese. We ordered them without the buns. The burgers here are very well done and really tasty. They are on the smaller side but enough to satisfy. The dinner salads here are generous and delicious and the fries are awesome too. Definitely worth going back here for all of the dishes mentioned here and below. Enjoy!! It was really, really cold outside and it was super cold by the windows where we were seated so we moved towards the middle of the restaurant where the temperature was more comfortable. Hopefully they have remedied this by now.

Visit #4- we went here for lunch last Friday to meet our daughter. She and I ordered our favorite salad again and it was just as delicious as the first time. My husband ordered the wings. He thought they were awesome and said that he would definitely order them again. His only complaint was that he only got 8 wings (which are on the smaller side-but he said they were meaty) for $11. The wings have a tasty dry rub on them and they are served with a house made bistro sauce which is slightly spicy but very good. They offer other sauces to that satisfy most everyone’s taste. If you like wings, you’ll love these!
I have been here three times and ordered different things every time. The first visit was shortly after they opened. What I had was not good at all but we’ll give them a free pass because they were new in town and letting everything settle in;). To their credit – they did not charge me and were very appreciative that I brought the quality of the food item to their attention. The next two visits were fantastic!!
For lunch with my parents one day the three of us ordered the special which was a delicious and perfectly sized burger and fries. The burger was one of the best I have had in town and for mid-day it was not too large and heavy.

For dinner on the third visit, which was the night before Thanksgiving, my daughter and I order the new Bourbon Cranberry Salad. WOW! This is the best salad I have ever had…anywhere. You can add chicken if you want (I did) but you honestly don’t need it and the chicken was pretty bland. However, a wonderful mix of greens, bourbon soaked cranberries, green onions, pecans, blue cheese, bacon, avocados and the dressing…my mouth is watering as I write about it and I think we should go back there tonight and get another one;)! This dish is simply amazing. Definitely worth the trip to the restaurant. They have a full bar with all kinds of brew too. Enjoy!
