We have talked about dining here but then always chose something else. Why- we don’t know. We should have tried it long ago. Here we found a cafe type atmosphere and delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients. It is definitely easy to believe it when they say they are a farm to table establishment. The owners, Chris and Jenna Rohe, were hard at work yet making things look effortless while making sure that all of the dinner patrons had a great experience. Chris is the chef with an award-winning history and creates amazing entrees. The menu changes so please don’t go by what their website says. I think that is one reason we did not go there for so long. They have way more to offer than what their website shows! They have a standard menu and then feature specials on the chalkboard-

I had my favorite – the tomato basil soup. This is fresh and the best I have ever had! They serve it with their delectable fresh baked bread. That was followed by the chalkboard special of prawn linguini with sherry onion cream sauce. It was a generous portion and SO amazing with the tender prawns and the uniquely flavored sauce. Absolutely delicious!

Scott ordered from the main menu which offers an interesting variety of entrees. He had the crab-stuffed chicken breasts with a side of linguini with sauteed vegetables. It exceeded his expectations. The squash bisque that he ordered was a delicious start.
.
He described it like this: “The crab-stuffed chicken was amazing! Fine flour crust with a TON of crab meat! Juicy and tasty with the right amount of mild seasoning. Instead of the veggies, I wish it would have had broccoli and bacon in a cream sauce.”

Please don’t be discouraged by the strip mall location. This place has been here for years and hopefully will be here for many more.
We are definitely so pleased that we tried Prescott’s and look forward to the next time we are able to visit again. Enjoy!
