This was a very pleasant surprise. It was very busy and we had to wait a few minutes for a table…but it was definitely worth it. We have been here before a few times and Scott likes the Cuban sandwich. He loves Cuban sandwiches so much that he keeps notes and rates them all over town! Fat Willy’s is second to his number one at Whistle Binkies. I have had their burger before and it was okay. I will give it a chance again someday. They have a large variety of burgers and you can sub chicken for any one of the burger choices. There are salad and wrap choices too.

Tonight I tried their special. It was chicken alfredo. This is one of my favorite dishes of all time with chicken or shrimp. I have had amazing and I have had blah. Blah, even at an overall fantastic local Italian restaurant on Broadway.

Fat Willy’s is locally owned and operated which we both appreciate and support.The special was a chicken alfredo so I asked for a sample taste of the alfredo sauce so that I didn’t wast a whole plate full of bland white gravy. The server gladly gave me a sample and it was amazing!

The sauce was light and so flavorful with just the right amount of every ingredient. We were sitting in an atmosphere of burgers, beer, vintage car photos and license plates and here is this amazing alfredo with chicken that is grilled and so tender and fettuccine noodles that are done to perfection. Unlikely place to have an awesome alfredo but I would have this again, and again and again! It is not on the menu and I am not sure if they always feature it on a Friday but when you see it as the special it is a MUST try for $9.95!!

Fat Wily’s is a definite recommendation. Especially on a warm night on their patio, very relaxing. Enjoy!
