Whistle Binkies has two locations in town. We visited the north one last night and it was busy. We waited less than 5 minutes for a table. Everyone should be able to find something they like on this menu because it offers all kinds of fare for every taste bud. Everything from burgers and wraps, pasta, fish and chips, Irish stew and Shepard’s pie to Ahi tuna and mahi mahi, steaks, chicken and a fantastic stir fry. You should be able to find something tasty. The service was great. It’s a bar and grill atmosphere with lots of TV’s . They have live music on some weekends starting at 9:00.
My husband ordered one of the specials. It was the Bourbon Sirloin with onion curls and he ordered it cooked medium. It was a chew fest. He loves steak and never complains or comments about it being too chewy but he did this time. It was way to much effort and not enough flavor. It was reasonably priced for what it was but he only finished half of it.

I had a much better experience. I ordered the smothered chicken from the entree menu. It is a generous sized, flavorful grilled chicken breast smothered with just the right amount of mozzarella, cheddar, sauteed onions and delicious mushrooms. It was so tender and was served with carrots. I chose the slaw as a side but potatoes are a choice too. This dish is really delicious and I would definitely recommend it and order it again myself on a future visit to Whistle Binkies.

Enjoy!
